Can I add seats to my commercial van?
One of the most common requests we get is from contractors looking to add extra seating to their light commercial vehicles to help carry their crew and equipment. We get asked to perform crew cab conversions and to add additional seating to their vans.
It makes sense that if you run a contracting firm, you will want to get all of your team onsite simultaneously. Many obstacles prevent your contractors from arriving on time, such as traffic jams, broken down vehicles, sat-navs sending them the wrong way, and more.
When you are working to tight schedules and budgets, you don't want to damage your business reputation or delay the delivery of your work. It makes sense to want to get everyone together onsite with all the equipment they need to do the job.
An easy way to ensure your team works more efficiently is to add extra capacity to your work van to get your whole crew plus all necessary tools and equipment there on time. Adding additional seating to your work van will save you a lot of time and money, plus it will cut down on overheads such as paying out for fuel, tax and insurance on second or third vehicles that you are not running at capacity.
